'The Meadowlark'  -work-in-progress'

''The Meadowlark' - This was a commission project for a facility with the same name.   I opted to keep the project simple with just teh bird and branches and a subtle background to ensure that the bird kept the focus.  

The finished piece is 11" x 14" before framing.

The weathered branches are created using 4 different fabrics, including one that I used both the front and back to create more texture.  The bird uses 3 fabrics plus a significant amount of thread to blend.  Measuring "11" x 14" before framing.
