'Lily of the Valley' -work-in-progress'
''I felt like working on a simply design and select this lily of the valley floral. Growing up in Minnesota we had Lily of the Valley flowers everywhere. Their sharp pointed green leaves and delicate white flowers create a beautiful contrast.
I used about 4 different green fabrics to create the foliage, and kept the design as simple as possible. I added just a plain black background to maintain the simplicity of the piece.
The finished piece is 11" x 14".
