'Guardian of the Sea' -work-in-progress'
''Guardian of the Sea' - I created this imaginary scene after studying many photos - fun part was building the old distressed wood - not-so-fun part - the face.
The finished piece is 16" x 20" and was framed.
The face - needed to look carved without giving anyone nightmares. Face #1 was definitely in the nightmare category,
I had to correct the final piece when I noticed that my sailing ship in the background was a modern sailboat - and not a vintage. Details!
